Team

who are we?

We are a bunch of like-minded people united for the betterment for the vulnerable and needy people in our society. We are working together embracing everyone's culture and tradition to provide culturally sensitive services.

What do we do?

We are an enthusiastic bunch of people from various professional backgrounds who come together to prepare fresh hot vegetarian meals for families and centres in need. We do so from items donated to us from various sources including supermarkets and preparing food boxes with wholesome and nutritious meals. From 2021 until January 2023, we have delivered over 2000+ hot meals and over 500+ food bags to families and vulnerable homeless people.

What do we provide?

FOOD FOR HOMELESS

We support homeless people with food and other essential items, working in partnership with Food Aid Network and other agencies to ensure healthy, nutritious meals are catered for people experiencing homelessness.

FOOD PANTRY

We collect surplus food from various supermarkets to be distributed to families struggling due to the increase in the cost of living. Food bags are made for those families to help them through the week. Local schools refer families or anyone can self refer.

community intervention

We aim to work with enthusiastic volunteers within the community to help in the collection of surplus food, preparation of hot meals, delivery of food items to those in need. We also run a free cafe that is open to anyone in need of chat, a cup of coffee or any food, every 2nd Saturday
